One Arrested, Two Others Sought In Martin Shooting

Martin, Tenn.–Martin Police have arrested one person and are still looking for two others involved in a shooting in broad daylight in a local business parking lot.

Anthony R. Hogard Jr., age 27, of Martin was charged with recless endangerment, aggrated assault and criminal responsibility for facilitation of a felony.

Martin Assistant Police Chief Phillip Fuqua said warrants also have been signed for Kentrel Ne’Air Siner, age 23, and Laci D. Benson, age 21. They are from Savannah.

Martin Police were called to 136 Industrial Drive (MTD Products) around 12:15 p.m. Monday.

According to the police report, there was an exchange of gunfire between Hogard and another car in the parking lot. Employees were walking through the lot at the time, the report said.

Chief Fuqua said his department is working with several local, state and federal law enforcement agencies in efforts to serve the active warrants.
