Betty Gail Taylor Kent, 69, of Indian Mound, Tennessee, passed away Thursday, July 28, 2022 at her residence.
She was born Wednesday, March 11, 1953, in Clarksville, Tennessee, the beloved daughter of the late Ruben “Holy” and Margaret Cothran Taylor.
She was a loving and devoted mother, grandma, sister, aunt and friend. She loved being outside and nature, enjoying hunting and fishing. Betty retired as an LPN from Signature Healthcare. She attended Cross Creed Baptist Church, Indian Mound, Tennessee.
She is survived by her loving son: Phillip Westerman (Jesse), of Indian Mound, Tennessee; brother: Terry Taylor (Stacey), of Rockwall, Texas; sisters: Carol Taylor Roberts, of Indian Mound, Tennessee, Lisa Barnes (Billy), of Clarksville, Tennessee, Carmen Bobbitt, of Smyrna, Tennessee, and Jamie Sullivan (Bobby), of Gallatin, Tennessee; grandchildren: Matthew Westerman, Patrick Lamb, and Aubrey Westerman.
A graveside service will be Sunday, July 31, 2022 at 2:00 p.m. at Fairview Cemetery, Indian Mound, Tennessee, with Bro. James Green officiating. Family and friends will serve as pallbearers.
