Nancy Jo Reagor

Nancy Jo Reagor, 76, of Paris, Tennessee, died Sunday, May 5, 2024, at her residence.

Nancy was born Friday, March 5, 1948, in Paris, Tennessee, to the late Joseph Lyell Dowdy and the late Virginia Mann Dowdy.

While growing up, Nancy worked alongside her parents at CG Market & Cottage Grove Café, where she & her mother were well-known for their southern cooking & people came from all over for their pies.

She was married Friday, November 17, 1972, to Edward Lee “Ed” Reagor, who preceded her in death Friday, August 12, 2022.

She was the former co-owner, business manager, & interior designer of Ed Reagor Construction where, alongside her husband, they built & designed custom homes.

Though she wore many hats & took care of many things, her most important role was being a devoted wife, mother, and grandmother.  She was a member of First Baptist Church in Paris.

In addition to her parents & husband, she was also preceded in death by one daughter: Cheryl Blankenship; and one cousin: Joy Call.

She is survived by her two daughters: Lorie GeNan (Bruce) Pendergrass, of Paris, Tennessee, and Charmaine (Robert) Baldwin, of Huntersville, North Carolina; her son: Eddie Reagor, of Paris, Tennessee; three grandchildren: Roger Culpepper Cain, of Paris, Tennessee, Alexandria (Jordan) Hayes, of Paris, Tennessee, and Alison Reagor, of Nashville, Tennessee; one niece: Lana Reagor (Jerry) Joyner, of Paris, Tennessee; and cousins: Sue Call, of Paris, Tennessee, and Tracy Loines, of Paris, Tennessee.

Arrangements are being handled by Ridgeway Funeral Home, 201 Dunlap Street/PO Box 788, Paris, Tennessee, 38242.

No public visitation is planned.

The funeral service will be held Thursday, May 9, 2024, at 12:00 p.m. at Ridgeway Funeral Home, with Todd Henson officiating.

Serving as pallbearers will be Bruce Pendergrass, Pepper Cain, Eddie Reagor, Robert Baldwin, and Bobby Lovins.

Named as honorary pallbearers are Jerry Joyner and Robert “Scooter” Miller.

Entombment will be in Hillcrest Memorial Park in Paris, Tennessee.
