Arthur Ramirez, 76, of Springville, Tennessee, died Thursday, March 21, 2024, at his residence.
Arthur was born March 3, 1948, in Osceola, Arkansas, to the late Joe Ramirez and the late Otila Ramirez. In addition to his parents, he was also preceded in death by one son: Arthur Wayne Ramirez; three sisters: Nevies Quintero, Juanita Halpain, and Margie Cano; and two brothers: Joe “Little Joe” Ramirez, Jr., and Raydell Ramirez.
He was the former owner & operator of R&R Bait Shop.
He enjoyed hunting and fishing and loved his dog: Lady.
He is survived by his former wife & caregiver: Faye Shepperson, of Springville, Tennessee; one son: Kenneth Dale Ramirez, of Arkansas; two sisters: Mary Ann Thomas, of Keiser, Arkansas, and Mary B. Ramirez, of Joliet, Illinois; three brothers: Paul Ramirez, of Osecola, Arkansas, Joey Ramirez, of Blytheville, Arkansas, and Jessie Ramirez, of Osecola, Arkansas; six grandchildren: Brandy Ramirez, Brandon Ramirez, Cassidy Driscoll, Danielle Ramirez , Magan Ramirez, and Brandtley Ramirez.
Arrangements are being handled by Ridgeway Funeral Home, 201 Dunlap Street/PO Box 788, Paris, Tennessee, 38242.
Visitation will be Saturday, March 23, 2023, from 12:00 p.m. – 2:00 p.m. at Ridgeway Funeral Home, with the funeral service beginning at 2:00 p.m. at Ridgeway Funeral Home, with Chad Kennedy officiating.
Family members will serve as pallbearers.
Burial will be in Memorial Cemetery in Paris, Tennessee.
