Earlene Parrish Butler

Earlene Parrish Butler, 80, of Fort Worth, Texas, formerly of Paris, died Saturday, December 19, 2022, at Baylor Scott & White Medical Center in Grapevine, Texas.

Earlene was born Friday, April 17, 1942, in Paris, Tennessee, to the late Earl Parrish and the late Blondell Phifer Parrish. 

She was a homemaker, stay-at-home-mom, and caretaker of her son, William.  She formerly worked at Henry County Medical Center in the nurse’s ward.  Earlene was an avid reader and loved her four sons more than life.  She formerly attended Maplewood Baptist Church.

She was married to Donald Ivan Butler, who preceded her death.

She is survived by her four sons, John (Amanda) Butler of Ft. Worth, TX, William Butler of Ft. Worth, TX, David (Karen) Brown of Dallas, TX, and Richard (Stephni) Brown of Springfield, VA; two grandchildren, Vashon (Kenisha) Brown, and Trent Brown; and one great-grandchild on-the-way.

Arrangements are being handled by Ridgeway Funeral Home, 201 Dunlap Street/PO Box 788, Paris, TN 38242.  The body is to be cremated.  Memorial visitation will be Saturday, March 4, 2023, from 10:00 am – 11:00 am at Ridgeway Funeral Home, with the memorial service beginning at 11:00 am.

Burial of cremains will follow the service in Memorial Cemetery in Paris, TN.
