Arthur “Red” Williams, 85, of Big Rock, Tennessee, was called home to the Lord on Wednesday, June 29, 2022, at Vanderbilt Medical Center with his family by his side.
He was born Saturday, October 24, 1936, in Little Rock, Arkansas. Arthur was retired from the United States Army after 20 years of service. He then farmed, drove a school bus for Stewart County Schools, and worked as a cook at Cherokee Marine Towing Barge Company.
He is preceded in death by his sister: Lucille O’Brien and uncle: Joe Williams.
He is survived by his loving wife of 62 years: Margie Threatt Williams; children: Arthur J. Williams, Kenny (Susan) Williams, Rhonda (J.) Runyon, Paula (Andy) Auth, Tony (Denise) Williams, and Karen (Tim) Borens. 10 grandchildren and 10 great-grandchildren.
