Paris, Tenn.–The No Limits Mobile Petting Zoo made its first appearance at Henry County High School, Inman, Rhea and Paris Elementary Schools Thursday with a menagerie of piglets, lambs, chickens, cows, goat and sheep.

The No Limits Livestock Show is the brainchild of Sarah Cate Orr to give the county’s special education students an opportunity to exhibit small livestock at the Henry County Fair. Orr earlier this year received the Loyal Patriot Award, Henry County’s top award that can be bestowed on a citizen and became the youngest person to receive the award.

Orr said the Mobile Petting Zoo will be taken to other county schools shortly. “We wanted to wait until everyone’s testing was done,” she said.

The piglets were given by Tosh Farms, the goat came from Taylor Dunagan, the sheep from Kara Barnhart and the chickens and cows belonged to Orr.

It took a lot of organization to move the Mobile Petting Zoo from school to school but everyone agreed it was worth it to see how excited the students were with the experience. And the teachers enjoyed it, too.
