benton-co-ambulance-in-ditch

Benton County, Tenn.–A Benton County ambulance needed help itself and the employees of the town of Big Sandy came to the rescue. With icy and snowy conditions Friday, the ambulance drove off the roadway on Point Mason Road. The Big Sandy employees arrived and pulled them out with a front-loader. Big Sandy Mayor Autumn Ratliff said the EMS crew was leaving a call when they got hung up and there was no patient in the ambulance. She gave the town’s employees an “Atta-boy” for helping out. “Our guys lending a helping hand to those in need. Teamwork makes the dream work.” Benton Co. EMS photo.
