Paris, Tenn.–In ceremonies before Friday night’s Henry County Patriots’ football game, Senior Anna Minor was crowned Homecoming Queen. She is the daughter of Randall and Christy Minor and was escorted by Jermarcus Johnson Jr., son of Alicia Watkins and Dustin Patton.
Johnson also played an integral role in the game, which saw the Patriots beat West Creek 56-13.
Minor is Senior Class President and plans to attend Swanee or Colorado University, where she will pursue a degree in Psychology while playing Varsity Tennis.
This year’s Homecoming Court included three seniors, two juniors and two sophomores.
The other Seniors on the court are:
Callie Hart, she is the daughter of Danny and Jenny Hart. Callie is a senior she is Vice President of the Senior class, a member of the National Honor Society, FCA, Student Ambassador, FFA, DECA, Henry County Youth Leadership and is a Lady Patriot Soccer player. Her plans for the future include attending College where she will major in biology and pursue a career in the medical field. Callie was escorted by Gage Starks, the son of Monte and Jennifer Starks.
Avary Wood, she is the daughter of Paige Wood. Avary is a senior involved in Student Ambassadors, Student body School Board Rep, National Honor Society, FFA, HOSA, FCA, French Club and a 4-year member of the HCHS Soccer and Tennis teams. She has plans to attend the University of Tennessee at Chattanooga and major in health and human performance to pursue a Medical career. She was escorted by Rylan Perry; he is the son of Lance and Jennifer Perry.
Juniors on the court are:
Phoebe Odom is the daughter of Terry Odom and Amy Odom. Phoebe is a junior, and a member of FFA, FBA, Spanish club, and a 3-year Varsity Soccer player. She plans to attend College with an undetermined pathway. Phoebe wass escorted by Beau Mitchell, the son of Kevin and Candi Mitchell.
Tatiana Sperber is the daughter of Justin and Debbie Sperber. She is a junior involved in FFA, FCA, Red Swarm, Rock On, and Springhill Baptist Church Youth group. Her plans for the future include attending college to study and go into Missionary work. Tatiana was escorted by Evan Bevill the son of David and Andrea Bevill.
Sophomores on the Court:
Ellie Culpepper is the daughter of Jay and Jennifer Culpepper. Ellie is a sophomore Student Ambassador, FCA, FFA, First Baptist Youth Group and Rock On. She plans to attend college with an undetermined major at this time. Ellie was escorted by Kenson Kyle, the son of Kreg and Michelle Kyle.
Adi Vaughn, she is the daughter of Dennis and Angie Vaughn. Adi is a sophomore who is involved in FCA, Rock On and is a HCHS Patriot Cheerleader. She plans to attend college where she will obtain a degree in Pediatric Oncology. Adi was escorted by Matt Parrish; he is the son of Jason and Tanya Parrish.
