Paris, Tenn.–Dr. Kyle Stephens, recently announced the addition of Janna French to his practice at West Tennessee Bone and Joint Clinic – Paris.

A board certified, family nurse practitioner, French holds a bachelor and master’s degree of science in nursing from the University of Tennessee – Martin and Austin Peay State University respectively. The Henry County High School graduate is a native of Paris.

“Janna is a tremendous asset to our team, and I am excited to work with her to provide optimal care to our patients,” Stephens said. “Janna is from Paris and is deeply invested in the people here. She is excellent with patients, and most importantly, we see eye-to-eye on our philosophy of patient-centered care,” he said. “We are thrilled to have her and we are certain she will be a blessing to this community.”

French will split time between the inpatient hospital setting and the outpatient clinic to insure continuity of care for patients who undergo surgery or are admitted to the hospital with injuries. “Janna has proven herself to be very capable and competent in managing a variety of tasks from assisting me in surgeries to rounding on patients, seeing consults and otherwise making sure our patients receive excellent care,” said Stephens.

Additionally, French will be in clinic seeing patients for their orthopedic needs. She is available for appointments to see new and established patients for hip, knee, shoulder, hand, spine and other issues beginning March 2.

French will offer a special clinic for patients with osteoporosis, a field in which she has worked to improve outcomes by providing treatments and educating patients regarding bone health.  “Our community is a retirement community with an aging population, and we see a high volume of osteoporosis-related fractures, such as hip, wrist, spine and ankle fractures,” said French. “I want to help patients get proper care and screenings by either coordinating follow-up with their established primary care providers or initiating care for patients who do not have a primary care provider,” she said.

Dr. Stephens and French see patients at West Tennessee Bone and Joint Clinic in Paris and Huntingdon. For more information or to schedule an appointment, call 731-644-0474 or visit www.wtbjc.com.
