HC Sheriff: Remember Your Pets In Cold Temps

Paris, Tenn.–The Henry County Sheriff’s Office is reminding all pet owners to watch over their pets as the temperatures are dropping early this year.
Sheriff Monte Belew said, “We would like to urge everyone to make sure their pets have plenty of food, water and most importantly, have shelter in the upcoming extreme temperatures. If your pet stays outside please remember to put plenty of thick blankets or bedding inside the shelter to help keep them warm.”
If circumstances arise and you need to surrender an animal or if you know someone who wants to surrender an animal, the Henry County Sheriff’s Office Animal Shelter is located at 622 Jones Bend Road.
Belew said, “We at the Sheriff’s Office feel like our K-9s are family. Please remember to take extra special care of your four legged friends this fall and winter!”
