HCHS Construction Program Honored

Paris, Tenn.–The Construction Program of Study at Henry County High School was recognized Thursday in Nashville for being a Certified Tennessee Pathway. County Director of Schools Dr. Leah Watkins said, “To become a certified pathway, programs of study have to meet criteria including equipment that meets up-to-date industry specifications, offers multiple employment opportunities, provides work-based learning placements for students, and teaches skills leading to high-wage occupations in demand in the community.” In photo are County Curriculum Supervisor Betsy Allison, Construction Teacher John Harrison and High School Principal Michele Webb.
