43 Boxes Of Books Collected For Henry County's Little Free Libraries

Paris, Tenn.—The ABC (All Books Count) Book Drive sponsored by the Paris Rotary, Henry County Medical Center and the Henry County Health Council has come to a close and multiple locations assisted in the collection of books during the drive. Rachel Matlock of the Henry County Health Council said the groups collected 43 boxes of books for Henry County’s Little Free Libraries. In photo, Linley White of Paris Rotary is shown presenting a check for an additional $150 for books to Matlock. Matlock said, “Thanks to this partnership, Henry County will have plenty of opportunities to read, learn and grow in the coming year.”
There are 12 Little Free Libraries in Henry County:  Henry County Health Department, Ogburn Park, McNeill Park, the Church in Paris, and Henry Baptist Church (all of those were purchased through a health department grant). And there five other Little Free Libraries elsewhere in Paris that had been placed there by other agencies and groups: one outside of the Atkins-Porter Recreation Center in Paris which was installed by the Atkins-Porter Neighborhood Association; and others at Cash Savers, Eagle Food Store and Eiffel Tower Park, all in Paris, which were placed there by the W.G. Rhea Library. Plus, one at the entrance of Grove School in Paris, placed there by the school, and one at Henry School.
