Huntingdon, Tenn.–The Dixie Carter Performing Arts & Academic Enrichment Center will host three of Carroll County’s best storytellers for a free event in celebration of Huntingdon’s bicentennial. Robert “Gus” Radford, Judge John Everett Williams, and W. Kent Jones will tell “Stories From the Past” on Saturday, Aug. 6 at 2 p.m. Doors open at 1:15.
This live performance in the Hal Holbrook Theatre will feature three storytellers who were born and raised in Carroll County. Each of them bring a different perspective of their time in Huntingdon and this collaboration will be something not to be missed! Many well-known historical figures will be discussed and the audience will be delighted to be transported back in time hearing stories from the past.
