Historical Society To Hear History Of Buchanan General Store

Paris, Tenn.–The history of the old Buchanan General Store in Buchanan, Tennessee, will be the program at the Henry County Historical Society’s meeting on Thursday, August 5th at the Paris-Henry County Heritage Center beginning at 6 p.m. The public is invited.

Members and visitors will be updated on upcoming Paris-Henry County Bicentennial events and a new Henry County History and Families book. Officers and board members for the 2021-22 year will be elected; there will be an update on the antique fire engine restoration; and annual dues of $10 will be collected. Membership in the society is open to all.
