Comedian and actor Henry Cho will bring his homespun humor to The Dixie Carter Performing Arts and Academic Enrichment Center Saturday, January 15, at 7:30 p.m. show as part of the Carroll Bank & Trust Series.

“I’m an Asian with a Southern accent,” Cho quips on his Facebook page. “To a lot of people, that right there is funny.”

The seasoned stand-up performer has taken his brand of clean comedy to the famed “The Tonight Show” on NBC and “The Late, Late Show” on CBS. His one-hour Comedy Central special, “What’s That Clickin’ Noise” is currently on Netflix, and Cho can be heard on SiriusXM comedy channels and Pandora.

Cho is also a regular performer on The Grand Ole Opry and has worked extensively with Vince Gill, Amy Grant, Willie Nelson, Carrie Underwood, Reba McEntire, and many more. Cho even co-starred with Delta Burke and the late Dixie Carter on an episode of “Designing Women.” Cho is currently working on his own sitcom with Triple Horse Studios, the guys behind “The Case for Christ.”
