Fulton County, Ky.–Two people from Obion County were arrested on drug and firearms charges when a search warrant was conducted on a home in Fulton County, Ky. The Fulton County Sheriff’s Office, Obion County Sheriff’s Office, Graves Co. and Dyer County sheriff’s offices were involved in executing the search warrant.
Deputies conducted the search Monday on Beech Grove Rd in the Brownsville community. Upon search of residence a large amount of methamphetamine and paraphernalia was located throughout the house along with marijuana and other paraphernalia. Also located inside the residence were several firearms.
The following were arrested, and charges are as followed.
Kara Dunavant of Obion TN
1. Trafficking in controlled substance 1st degree 1st offense over 2 grams – firearm enhanced
2. Trafficking marijuana less than 8 ounces 1st offense – firearm enhanced
3. Possession of drug paraphernalia – firearm enhanced
Joshua Roney of Obion TN
1. Trafficking in controlled substance 1st degree 1st offense over 2 grams – firearm enhanced
2. Trafficking marijuana less than 8 ounces 1st offense – firearm enhanced
3. Possession of drug paraphernalia – firearm enhanced
4. possession of firearm by convicted felon
5. possession of handgun by convicted felon
