Pack 222 of Paris had the honor of placing flags on the graves of veterans in remembrance of the brave men and women who gave so much for everyone’s freedom. The group placed American flags at Memorial Cemetery this week. Amanda Paschall said, “Watching these Scouts carefully place each flag was a powerful reminder that Memorial Day is more than a long weekend, it’s about gratitude, sacrifice, and remembering those who served our country with courage.
We are proud to help teach our Scouts the importance of service, respect, and honoring our heroes. Thank you to all of the families and volunteers who came out to help today, and most importantly, thank you to the veterans and fallen service members who made our freedoms possible.” Amanda Paschall photo.
