A Missouri woman is facing drug charges in Union City after an early morning traffic stop Friday.
Union City Police Chief Perry Barfield says just after midnight, officers stopped 48-year-old Debra Evonne Crocker, of Braggadocio, Missouri, on West Reelfoot Avenue for registration violation.
Officers noticed Crocker’s speech was slurred and she appeared to be under the influence.
A search of Crocker’s car revealed 76 Hydrocodone pills, 23 Xanax bars, and 36 Lyrica pills.
Officers also found two small glass containers insider her make-up bag containing a small amount of crystal meth, along with a small bag of crystal meth inside her contact case.
Officers also discovered a set of digital scales in the glove compartment.
Crocker’s criminal history showed several prior felony drug possession charges out of southeast Missouri.
Crocker was booked into the Obion County Jail on multiple drug charges and her car was seized. Officers also seized $74 dollars in cash.
