The Inaugural Kuttawa Cannonball Run will make a stop Saturday at Breakers Marina on Kentucky Lake.
The Kuttawa Cannonball Run is a 60-mile boat run starting at Kuttawa Harbor Marina on Lake Barkley and continuing to Breakers Marina in Henry County. Additional stops on the boat run will be Moors Marina, Malcolm Creek Resort, Big Bear Resort, KenLake Marina, and Breakers Marina.
There will be approximately 40-50 off-shore power boats participating and they’ll be docked at Breakers Marina between 11:30 and 2:00.
Some of the boats making the run cost up to a million dollars and can reach speeds of up to 150 miles-per-hour.
Spectators are welcome to visit the Breakers to see these boats up close and personal.
Proceeds from the boat run benefit Reboot Combat Recovery, a faith-based combat trauma healing course designed to address the spiritual wounds of war. At Reboot locations across the country, combat veterans are healing, divorce rates are declining, medication abuse is decreasing, and suicide numbers are being reduced.
