Stanton, Tennessee–Tennessee Governor Bill Lee and Ford executives joined hundreds of community leaders and citizens for a celebration of the BlueOval City site.

Gov. Lee said, “For West Tennesseans, this day has been decades in the making. BlueOval City will serve as a blueprint for workforce development and secure Tennessee’s leading role in the future of American auto manufacturing.”
State economic development officials said the industrial complex will deliver Ford Motor Company’s all-new electric truck and advanced batteries that will power future Ford and Lincoln electric vehicles. The $5.6 billion investment in Tennessee will create approximately 6,000 new jobs, 2,500 of those at the new #BlueOvalSK battery plant on site.

State Rep. Brock Martin of Huntingdon said, “Generational Transformation! A great term from my friend, Justin M Hanson to describe what BlueOval City will do for West Tennessee. It was an honor to be present for the opening celebration event today along with so many great leaders from across the state.” Rep. Martin represents the 79th District, with Carroll, Gibson and Henderson Counties.

Powering Ford’s BlueOval City not only means supplying reliable, cleaner energy but also energizes the workforce of the future! Today Ford Motor Company announced BlueOval Learning to empower future #EV workers and their next electric truck project at its new $5.6 billion electric vehicle and battery manufacturing center in West Tennessee.

The mega site will begin production in 2025.
