Helen E. Kuykendall Freeman

Helen E. Kuykendall Freeman,  87, of Paris, Tennessee, died Wednesday, May 18, 2022, at her residence.

She retired after many years from Holley Carburetor in Paris.  Helen enjoyed camping, fishing, and traveling.  She was a member of Shady Grove Baptist Church in Paris.

Helen was born Saturday, July 28, 1934, in Henry County, Tennessee, to the late Ted Atwood and the late Rosie Evans Atwood.

She was first married to Orie Wilson Kuykendall, who preceded her in death.  She later married James Morris Freeman, who also preceded her in death.

In addition to her parents, first husband, and second husband, she was also preceded in death by one sister, Betty Howard; and two brothers, Leon Atwood and John Atwood.

She is survived by her three sons: Randy (Karen) Kuykendall, of Murray, Kentucky, Steve (Betty) Kuykendall, of Paris, and Keith (Sandi York) Kuykendall, of Paris; seven grandchildren; nine great grandchildren; and one niece Kim Atwood Realy, of Paris.

Arrangements are being handled by Ridgeway Funeral Home, 201 Dunlap Street/PO Box 788, Paris, Tennessee, 38242.  Visitation will be Thursday, May 19, 2022, from 11:00 a.m. – 1:00 p.m. at Ridgeway Funeral Home, with the funeral service beginning at 1:00 pm at Ridgeway Funeral Home, with Randy Kuykendall officiating.

Family and friends will serve as pallbearers.

Burial will be in Paschall Cemetery in Puryear, Tennessee.
