Paris, Tenn.—A former Paris man was arrested on an evading arrest charge after he ran from Paris Police while they were attempting to detain him on a probation violation.
Storme Hilliard, age 23, of Lexington, was spotted on East Wood Street around 9:30 p.m. Wednesday by Lt. Josh Frey and Patrolman Steven Dean Jr.
They knew that a warrant for probation violation had been drawn on Hilliard and stopped his car near Wood and Fentress Streets. While attempting to handcuff him, Hilliard ran down an alley, but Frey blocked his progress with his patrol car near West Washington St.
Hilliard’s bond is set at $2,500.
