Jackson, Tenn.–LIFELINE Blood Services will host an unveiling ceremony for its newest project–a new wrap for the bloodmobile– on July 22, at 9:30 AM at 183 Sterling Farms Drive in Jackson.

LIFELINE Blood Services is announcing the unveiling of its updates to their bloodmobile, featuring a striking new wrap designed to raise awareness and inspire community support for blood donation. The design depicts all of the counties that make up the LIFELINE Blood Services program, with landmarks of each shown. For instance, Henry County is illustrated with the Eiffel Tower and World’s Biggest Fish Fry, Lake County depicts the Bald Eagles at Reelfoot; Obion County shows Discovery Park of America; Benton County is illustrated with the riverboats, etc.

Bloodmobiles are a critical component of LIFELINE’s efforts to collect life-saving blood donations. “75% of our blood donations are collected on bloodmobiles,” said Melinda Reid, Marketing Manager at LIFELINE Blood Services, “The bloodmobile will feature staple landmarks from counties we serve across West Tennessee.”

The project, a collaborative effort between LIFELINE and local artist Kris Stewart, aims to raise awareness about the importance of blood donation while celebrating the regions they service.

“With the help of B3 Creative Agency, I was able to create and design art that could stand as a testament to LIFELINE’s indispensable role in sustaining our communities — saving lives through the gift of donating blood,” said Stewart, “The art for LIFELINE’s Bloodmobile showcases West Tennessee’s vibrant heritage and LIFELINE’s integral role within it. This design proudly celebrates LIFELINE’s positive impact on the communities it serves and the cultural richness that binds us all together.”

LIFELINE Blood Services has 4 blood mobiles that service 21 counties in West Tenn. Bloodmobiles provide a convenient place for donors to give the gift of life. The blood drive calendar is shared on their website: lifelinebloodserv.org/drive-calendar.
