Paris, TN– Paris BPU is announcing the upcoming dedication and ribbon-cutting ceremony for a new mural that adorns the BPU headquarter’s exterior wall in the alley between Brewer and Poplar Streets in downtown Paris. The mural is a triptych that depicts several scenes from the BPU’s history.
The vibrant piece of art has been created by the local artist Dan Knowles and his apprentice, Sarah Candejas, and will serve as a symbol of Paris BPU’s rich culture and history.
President and CEO Terry Wimberley said, “We are excited to share our story and history through the latest mural additions to the east alley. Paris BPU is proud to be part of the downtown community and is pleased to add another interesting feature that visitors can enjoy.”
The dedication ceremony will take place on July 31 at 10 a.m. in the alley beside the Paris BPU office building at 117 E. Washington St.
