Big Sandy, Tenn.–Marilyn Solberg has been chosen as the 2024 Big Sandy Spring Festival Grand Marshal. Living in Big Sandy for over 46 years, being married to John Solberg, having a child named Jon, and her dedication to helping whenever needed truly make her a valuable member of the community. Her generosity towards the veterans and her belief that everyone can make a difference show what a kind and caring person she is. Marilyn’s positive impact on Big Sandy is truly inspiring, according to the Big Sandy Chamber officials.
The 47th Annual Big Sandy Spring Festival will be held from May 23 through May 25, with Saturday being the big day, with the car show starting at 8 a.m., Grand Parade at 10 a.m., circus, carnival, fireworks and more. Fireworks begin at 9 p.m.
Line-up for the parade begins at 9 am on Saturday, May 25 at Big Sandy School. No registration or fee!
