hc-pat-girls-win

Congratulations to the Lady Patriots, whose win Sunday advances them to the state tournament. First game at 1 pm Tuesday (opponent will be Knoxville Halls).

You can listen to the game on our station WLZK 94.1 FM.

TOURNAMENT SITE – The TSSAA Division I and Division II Softball State Tournaments will be held at the Murfreesboro Sports Complex (StarPlex & McKnight Fields) and MTSU Blue Raider Stadium in Murfreesboro May 21-24.

PARKING – There will be signs posted directing team buses where to park once they arrive at the StarPlex and McKnight Fields. Parking passes for the schools qualifying for the state tournament will be included in the team packets. Those without parking passes will be charged $5 per day for parking.

GENERAL ADMISSION – All tickets are general admission. Admission is $12 per day if purchased in advance online through GoFan, or $15 per day if purchased with cash at the gate. Children five years of age and older must purchase a ticket. TACA cards will be honored when presented with a matching photo ID. The TSSAA/TMSAA ID card will NOT be accepted for admission. School administrators who are registered on the TSSAA Portal can sign-in for free admission at the pass gate.

TEAM PACKETS – Team packets will be available for pick-up at the field where teams will play their first game. The team packets contain coaches’ credentials and one parking pass per day.

COACHES’ PASSES & ENTRY FOR PARTICIPANTS – No physical credentials will be issued to participants. Each participating team may bring in 25 individuals free of charge as part of their team party. Each registered TSSAA coach will receive a Spring Fling Coach Credential in their team packet, and those wearing this credential do not count as part of the 25 admitted in the team party. The head coach will be required to sign in their team upon arrival. A participating school will be charged $12 per person per day for individuals in excess of 25. This charge will appear on your school’s TSSAA Portal the week after Spring Fling.

If a team wishes to go to another Spring Fling venue after their game, they must get a handstamp before they leave the venue where they played their game.

TOURNAMENT SQUAD – Tournament squads are limited to a maximum of 20 players.

TOURNAMENT BRACKET – A copy of the state tournament bracket can be found on TSSAASports.com. The fields and game times are listed on the bracket. If more than one game is listed on a field, it will start approximately 30 minutes after the conclusion of the preceding game.

The top team in the bracket will sit in the first base dugout; the bottom team will sit in the third base dugout.
