Vehicle Stolen From Henry County Recovered After Pursuit

Mayfield, Ky.–A compact vehicle stolen from Henry County over the weekend was recovered by Graves County Sheriff’s deputies and the Kentucky State Police after a pursuit that book them through farm fields and fences in the Mayfield area.
Justin B. Riley, age 41, of Mayfield, was charged with fleeing and evading, criminal mischief, DUI, resisting arrest and will be facing more charges in Henry County and both Calloway and Graves Counties for theft.
On Monday morning March 18, at 2:30 AM, Graves Sheriff’s deputies attempted to stop 41-year-old Justin Riley on Ky Hwy 464 while operating an ATV. Riley was also wanted on theft charges from both Calloway County and Graves County for thefts of a 4-wheeler and a utility trailer.
Riley fled from deputies while driving through fields and through fences and was able to get away briefly from deputies.
Riley ultimately crashed the 4-wheeler. Minutes later he was found walking on Golo Road and was eventually taken into custody by KSP after a struggle.
During the overnight and early morning search and at around 8:30AM, Calloway and Graves Sheriff’s deputies recovered more stolen property, a stolen 2010 Toyota Yaris compact vehicle that had been reported stolen from Henry County Tennessee over this past weekend. Riley admitted to sheriff’s deputies that he had stolen the Toyota.
Arrested: Riley, Justin B. age 41
of Mayfield, Ky
Charges: Warrants served for thefts from both Calloway County and Graves County for theft.

Riley will be facing additional charges in both Calloway County and in Henry County Tennessee related to the theft of the Toyota.
Graves Sheriff’s deputies were assisted by the Mayfield Police Department, Calloway County Sheriff’s Office, and the Kentucky State Police.
