Patricia McNutt McCaslin

Patricia McNutt McCaslin, 82, of Paris, passed away Friday, March 8, 2024, at Henry County Medical Center.

Patricia was born Wednesday, October 8, 1941, in Paris, Tennessee, to the late R.A. McNutt and the late Pearl Thompson McNutt.

Patricia was a professional seamstress who also made clothes for her own family.

She worked at Salant & Salant, Briggs & Stratton and Holley Carburetor.

After Holley closed she went back to school, learning AutoCAD and worked as a draftsman for several years.

She married James T. McCaslin, Sr. on Saturday, June 8, 1957, and he preceded her in death Wednesday, July 5, 2017.

Besides her parents and husband, Ms. McCaslin is also preceded in death by grandchildren: Karla Marie Brown and Kayla Luann Brown; and sister: Dorothy McNutt Hurt.

Patricia is survived by her daughter: Sheliah (Keith) Watkins, of Paris; son: Ty (Deborah) McCaslin, of Paris; grandchildren: Jesse McCaslin (Julie Crace), Josh (Heather) McCaslin, Keith Brown (Alicia Potts), and Justin (Krystal) Watkins; great-grandchildren: Kaylee and Kinley McCaslin; Camilla, Sawyer, and Waylon McCaslin; Abbey, Amelia, and Audrey Watkins; Viviana Rose; numerous nieces, nephews, and other family members.

Her graveside memorial service will be conducted at 11:00 a.m. Saturday, March 16, 2024, at Maplewood Cemetery with Wilbur Farmer officiating.

Burial of Patricia’s ashes will follow the service.
