Dyersburg Fentanyl Death Results In Murder Charge

Dyersburg, Tenn.–Agents from the 29th District West Tennessee Drug Task Force were contacted to work a suspected drug overdose in Dyersburg Saturday morning. Agents quickly developed a suspect and a search warrant was granted for the subjects residence in Dyersburg. During the search, Agents located approximately 1.2 grams of suspected Fentanyl, 8 dosage units of suspected MDMA, and paraphernalia. One male subject is in custody for Possession of Schedule II with Intent, Drug Paraphernalia, Delivery of schedule II and 2ND DEGREE MURDER in connection to the death. This case is being prosecuted by the office of the District Attorney General, 29th Judicial District, Danny Goodman, Jr.
