Mrs. Barbara Wallace, 83, of Dover, Tennessee, was called home to be with the Lord Tuesday, September 12, 2023, with her loving family by her side.

She was born Tuesday, August 6, 1940, the beloved daughter of the late Selbern Samuel and Margie Mathis Page.

Barbara was a faithful member and servant of the First Christian Church of Dover.

She was humbled to play the piano for over 30 years.

She served Stewart County as Youth Service Officer and touched many children’s lives over the 12 years working there.

Barbara was honored to serve Stewart County for 16 years as Circuit Court Clerk.

She enjoyed serving as a Girl Scout Leader, loved working puzzles, dancing, and singing. She especially enjoyed planning and hosting parties and get-togethers in her home and other locations.

She was a loving and devoted wife, mother, grandmother, great-grandmother, sister, aunt, sister-in-law, and loyal friend to everyone.

In addition to her parents, she is preceded in death by her husband of 31 years: Freddie Thomas Wallace; and brother: Cecil Anderson Page.

She is survived by the family she cherished: children: Tina G. Daniel (Kenny), of Dover, TN, Mitchell T. Wallace, of Dover, TN and Freda Bellar (Timmy), of Cumberland City, TN; grandchildren: Christopher Cottrell (Elizabeth), Brandon Cottrell (Jill), Ben Wallace (Shayna), Jake Wallace (Chelsey), Alex Daniel (Kayla), Caroline Hudgins (Seth), Jackson Noback, Justice Noback and Jillian Noback; 13 great-grandchildren; many nieces and nephews; and many loving sister-in-laws.

Visitation will be held Friday, September 15, 2023, beginning at 11:00 am and continue until the funeral service at 1:00 pm at Anglin Funeral Home with Bro. William Gray officiating. Burial will follow at Stewart County Memorial Gardens. Those serving as pallbearers are Christopher Cottrell, Brandon Cottrell, Ben Wallace, Jake Wallace, Jackson Noback and Justice Noback. Honorary pallbearers are Mitchell Wallace and Alex Daniel.

A heartfelt “Thank You” to all the ladies of Diversicare for their kindness, love and support given over the years. The family thanks you from the bottom of their hearts.
