Paris, Tenn.- A search warrant on a Paris home lead to an arrest on drug and weapons charges.
Assistant Police Chief Ean Reed said officers with the Paris Police Department executed the warrant on a Hardy Street residence early Wednesday morning.
The lone occupant of the home, Jean Phelps age 41, was taken into custody following the search, charged with Possession of a Schedule VI narcotic with intent to manufacture, sell, or deliver and Possession of a firearm during the commission of a dangerous felony. Evidence seized from the home included multiple containers of marijuana, prescription narcotics, and four firearms.
The investigation continues and others may be charged in the days to come.
