Mr. William Sherrill Smith, 80, died Sunday, July 23, 2023, at his residence.
He was born Sunday, May 16, 1943, in rural Carroll County to William Andrew and Etta Virginia Manns Smith. He is preceded in death by his parents; his wife of 57 years: Wanda Sauls Smith; two sons: Bobby Smith and Jason D Smith, and a sister: Joyce Ann Smith Newbill.
He was a member of Trezevant Church of Christ, an avid fisherman and a factory worker, working at ACCO Milan and retiring from Orscheln, Moberly, MO.
He is survived by his son: William Bradley (Deanna) Smith, of Huntingdon, two sisters: Patsy (Frank) Burns, of Nashville, and Pam (Jerry) Swearingen, of Gatlinburg, and two grandchildren: Ashley Smith and Parker Smith.
Funeral services will be held Friday, July 28, 2023, at 2:00p.m. at Trezevant Church of Christ, with burial to follow at Trezevant Cemetery.
The family will receive friends on Friday, 12:00 p.m. at the church until service time.
