New State Record 122.3 LB. Blue Cat Caught In Stewart Co.

Stewart County, Tenn.–Now, this is a big blue! Micka Burkhart caught a monster Blue Cat Wednesday at 12 p.m. on the Cumberland River in Stewart County on a white bass head and 40-pound test line.
According to the TWRA, the 122.3 pound Blue Cat will be a new Tennessee record pending verification and certification.

57.5 inches long
42.25-inch girth
TWRA officials said, “Some of you may remember Micka from his previous state record Blue Cat in September of 2022, weighing 118.7 pounds.”
Micka successfully released this pending record back into the Cumberland River for those wondering.
