Mrs. Beulah Jane ‘Sis’ Coakley, 89, of Dover, Tennessee, was called home to be with the Lord on Tuesday, May 30, 2023, at Dover Care Center.
She was born Sunday, February 25, 1934, in Granite City, Illinois, the beloved daughter of the late Jessie and Ethel Windsor Boyd. In addition to her parents, she is preceded in death by her loving husband: Junior Lester (June Bug) Coakley; brothers: William Boyd, Jesse Boyd, and James Boyd; and sister: Ruth Lamb.
Sis as she was lovingly known as, enjoyed cooking, embroidering, and quilting.
Sis loved the Lord and was a very active member of Bear Springs Baptist Church.
Sis is survived by her sister: Norma Gann (Doug); brother: Leo Boyd; and a host of nieces and nephews.
Funeral service will be held Friday, June 2, 2023, at 2:00 p.m. at Anglin Funeral Home with Bro. William Gray officiating.
Visitation will begin at 10:00 a.m. and continue until the funeral service. Burial will follow at Stewart County Memorial Gardens. Family will serve as pallbearers. Rick Boyd will serve as honorary pallbearer.
