Shepherd’s Table Supper To Be Served Thursday

first-presby-paris

Paris, Tenn.–Shepherd’s Table serves a delicious free meal on the first Thursday of every month open to anyone wanting to come and eat. Join the volunteers at the First Presbyterian Church, Thursday, June 1st, from 4:30 to 6:30 pm. The meals can be either carry out or dine in.

The Fellowship Hall is located at 105 S. Market Street, in the church beside the downtown Paris Post Office. The volunteers ask that you approach the church on Blythe St. and park by the gate next to the playground or in the Presbyterian Church parking lot across the street.

Alsey Wheatley, a member of the First Presbyterian Church and leader of the kitchen staff, says this month’s menu will be a delicious Pork Cutlet Sandwich served with a refreshing watermelon salad. Also included will be a dessert.  There is no charge for the meal. Everyone is invited regardless of your circumstance.  Also, there will be a limited number of meals available – so everyone will be served until the food runs out.

More information about volunteering or donating to the Shepherd’s Table may be obtained by calling The First Presbyterian Church of Paris, at (731) 642-2962. If no answer, please leave a message, someone will get back to you as soon as possible.

The church welcomes everyone and hopes to see you on Thursday, June 1st,  beginning at 4:30pm.
