Mr. Gary Yates Clark, 66, of Dover, Tennessee, passed away Sunday, April 16, 2023, at the VA Hospital, Nashville, Tennessee.
He was born Friday, December 14, 1956, in South Fulton, Kentucky, the beloved son of the late Billy Lee and Marion Elizabeth Yates Clark.
Gary was a member of the St. Francis of Assisi Church, Dover, Tennessee.
He was an avid outdoorsman. He enjoyed hunting and hiking through the woods, fishing and boating on the local lakes.
Gary served his country proudly in the U.S. Navy. He retired after 21 years as a Chief Petty Officer attached to the Navy Seals and Special Forces. During his tour of duty, he held a special assignment at the White House with President Ronald Reagan.
In addition to his parents, he is preceded in death by his son: Jesse Yates Clark.
He leaves behind his loving and caring wife: Delia Garciano Clark and brother: David Clark, of South Fulton, Tennessee.
Visitation will be held Saturday, April 22, 2023, beginning at 10:00 a.m, and continuing until the funeral mass at 11:00 a.m. at St. Francis of Assisi Church, Dover, Tennessee.
