Murray, Ky.–Henry County Native Kathleen Walker has joined the staff of The Murray Bank an Ag and Commercial Loan Officer. Kathleen joins The Murray Bank after working in the Agricultural Industry for the past 10 years.
“We are excited to have Kathleen join our lending team,” according to Tony Ryan, Executive Vice President at The Murray Bank. “Her experience within the farming community will help The Murray Bank continue to grow our ability to serve them. She understands the risks associated with farming but more importantly the character of the farmers in our area. She has a passion for helping the farming community succeed and we look forward to helping her do so.”
Kathleen grew up in Henry County and now resides in Graves County with her husband Chase Walker on their family farm. She obtained a bachelor’s degree in Agricultural Studies at Murray State University and has worked previously at Farm Credit Mid-America and River Valley Ag Credit. They have two children, a son Clayton Rix (3), and a daughter Collins Rae (1).
