Henry, Tenn.–A vacant house in Henry was destroyed by fire Sunday night.
The Henry Volunteer Fire Department was dispatched to a structure fire at 5350 Hwy. 79S at 10:24 p.m. They found a vacant home with heavy fire and smoke in the rear of the structure.
Henry firefighters worked along with firefighters from the Paris Fire Depatment to extinguish the blaze. The home is a total loss and no injuries were reported.
Officials said, “The cause of the fire was a space heater left running while trying to keep the water lines from bursting.”
