
Medina, Tenn.–Agents with the 28th Judicial District out of Medina conducted an undercover investigation pursuant to receiving tips about a “casino” operating out of a back room of the Oasis convenience store on Main Street in Medina in Gibson County.
According to a Facebook post from the West Tennessee Drug Task Force, two Agents entered the store at different times with different owners present and asked about gambling. Each time Agents were escorted to a back room that contained four working slot machines. Agents observed players present and witnessed the owner pay winnings out of the cash drawer.
During the search warrant Agents seized 4 slot machines, a large amount of THC and approximately $28,000.00 in cash.
The investigation is continuing and charges are expected to be filed after completing the investigation and consulting with District Attorney General Frederick Agee of The Office of the District Attorney General, 28th Judicial District
