Mr. Larry Richard Randant, 78, of Battle Creek, Michigan, passed away Thursday, March 2, 2023, at Colonial House West Nursing Home in Marshall, Michigan.
He was born Tuesday, December 12, 1944, in Detroit, Michigan, the beloved son of the late James and Claire Agnes Lockwood Randant.
Larry proudly served our country four years in the U.S. Navy. He was a hard worker and provider for his family, retiring from Chrysler Corporation. Larry was a loving husband, father, step-father, father-in-law, grandfather, brother, uncle and a loyal friend to many.
In addition to his parents, he is preceded in death by his wife: Linda Robbins Randant; brother: James Randant and step-son: Ronald Vaden.
He is survived by his daughter: Deirdra Randant, of Battle Creek, Michigan; step-daughter: Donna Kay Ford and her husband Brian Ford, of Warren, Michigan; step-son: Michael Vaden, of Oklahoma; sister: Vivian Herron, of Dover, Tennessee, six grandchildren, four great-grandchildren and a large extended family.
A visitation will be held Friday, March 10, 2023, from 4:00 p.m. until 6:00 p.m. at Anglin Funeral Home. Visitation will resume Saturday, March 11, 2023, at 10:00 a.m. and continue until the funeral service at 11:00 a.m. at Anglin Funeral Home. Burial will follow at Mt. View Cemetery, Dover, TN. Family and friends will serve as pallbearers.
The family request, in lieu of memorials to make donations to the Alzheimer’s Association in memory of Larry.
