Paris, Tenn.–With three more days to go, the Henry County Helping Hand Radio Auction has already broken its all-time record with a year-to-date total of $384,184. The record–which was achieved last year–was $380,184.
Tennessee Valley Community Church members had a rousing and lucrative day today, raising $15,910 with their donations of 23 slates of items. Auctioneer was Junior Staggs and members of the Professional Women’s group manned the phones, with Auctioneer Ray Compton helping out.
There are three more days to go of the annual auction. On Monday, items will be donated by the India community, Henry County Girl Scouts, Henry County Saddle Club, and WRAP. On Tuesday, items will be from Lakeway Village and Mineral Wells Animal Clinic. And, as usual, Wednesday will be “Open to Anyone Day”.
Auction headquarters are at the Paris Convention Center. Auction phone is 644.
Each year, Helping Hand raises thousands of dollars for over 80 non-profit organizations.
The auction is on our radio stations at 104.7 FM/AM 1000. Photos of items donated are posted each day on the Helping Hand Facebook page and website. Our news site at RadioNWTN.com also posts the daily totals and photos.
