David Scott Sumner, 52, of Big Rock, Tennessee, passed away Monday, January 23, 2023, at his home with his loving family by his side.
He was born Wednesday, June 24, 1970, the beloved son of the late James Rodli and Thirlene Nash Sumner. In addition to his parents, he is preceded in death by his son: Scott Mitchell Sumner and his brother: Mike Sumner.
David enjoyed being outside, riding in the creeks and hillsides on his four-wheeler with his brothers and friends. He also found pleasure and comfort playing his guitar.
He is survived by his brothers: Ronnie (Shannon) Sumner and Dwayne (Rhonda) Sumner , both of Big Rock, Tennessee, sister: Johana (Bryant) Singleterary, of Big Rock, Tennessee; grandson: Casey Sumner, of Oklahoma City, Oklahoma; several nieces, nephews and many dear friends.
Visitation will be Wednesday, January 25, 2023, beginning at 11:00 a.m. and continuing until the hour of the funeral service at 1:00 p.m. at Anglin Funeral Home, with Bro. William Gray officiating. Burial will follow at Fairview Cemetery, Indian Mound, Tennessee. Family and friends will serve as pallbearers.
