Henry County Fair Wins Festival Of Trees Best Of Show

Paris, Tenn.–The Henry County Fair won Best of Show in the 2022 Festival of Trees. A large crowd was on hand for this morning’s Chamber Coffee and announcement of winners. There are some 30 entries this year.

The Fair’s entry was 100 percent homemade and crocheted by Tracy Loines and Elaine Walker.

Winners are: Best of Show: Henry County Fair; Out of the Box: Market Street Bakery; est Theme: Mineral Wells Animal Clinic; Most Traditional: 1. Foundation Bank, 2. Mockingbird Catering 3. Lakewood PTO; Most Creative: 1. Arts Council, 2. W.G. Rhea Library; Best Tiny Tree: GG’s Picnic Basket.

Visitors to the Festival of Trees can vote for the Peoples’ Choice at $1 a vote and the winner will be announced later in the season.

The Festival of Trees is located at the Downtown Paris 5 & 10 Event Center on the north side of the court square. It opens today and runs through December 18. New hours this year: Monday though Friday, 1-4 p.m.; Saturday noon-4 p.m. Sunday 2-4 p.m. Special dates: November 25, 1-7 p.m.; December 9, 1-7 p.m.; December 10, noon-5 p.m.
