UPDATE from sheriff’s office: The area has been searched with K-9s and drones. Mr. Sharp was unable to be located at this time. Officers are still in the area and will continue to patrol the area.
Buchanan, Tenn.–Citizens in the Mount Pleasant Freeland Rd and Coleman Branch Rd area of Buchanan are asked to please stay alert for fugitive Ronnie Sharp.
Henry County Sheriff Josh Frey said there’s a very high law enforcement presence in this area. Sharp is wanted in Henry County Tennessee and Calloway County Kentucky on numerous felony charges.

As we reported earlier, Calloway County Sheriff Nicky Knight last week was requesting the public’s assistance locating Sharp. Sharp is wanted in connection with a March 17, 2022 vehicle pursuit in Calloway County, where a warrant of arrest was issued for 1st Degree Fleeing or Evading Police, 3 counts of 1st Degree Wanton Endangerment, 3rd Degree Criminal Mischief, and various other traffic related offenses.
Sharp is also wanted for Failure to Appear while out on bond for a 2022 Calloway County felony case where he is charged with Possession of a Handgun by a Convicted Felon, Possession of a Firearm by a Convicted Felon, and various traffic related offenses. Sharp has also been charged with 1st Degree Bail Jumping in that pending case.
Sharp is also wanted in Marshall County for Failure to Appear on a pending case.
