Grover “Don” Cash

Mr. Grover “Don” Cash, of Troy, passed away at 10:04 a.m. Saturday, July 9, 2022, at his home.
Don was born Sunday, July 9, 1944, in the Walnut Log community, son of the late James and Violet (McQueen) Cash.  He was also preceded in death by his son: Donnie Cash and his brother: James Earl Cash.
Don was employed as a truck driver by both City Concrete and Southern Concrete and also worked as a security guard at Discovery Park of America.  He was a member of the Hickman Country Club where he loved to play golf and was a Green Bay Packer Football fan.  Don served in the U.S. Army as a Military Police Officer.
He married Sandy Jean (Keller) Cash Friday, December 18, 1987.
He is survived by his wife, son: Brian Cash (Rita), of Saukville, Wisconsin; daughter: Dawn Wilson (Brian), of Union City; two step-daughters: Michelle Hirschboeck, of Union City, and Carey Fortmuller, of Palm Harbor, Florida; six grandchildren and two great grandchildren.
Memorial services will be conducted at 7:00 p.m. Tuesday, July 12, 2022, in the chapel of Edmaiston Mosley Funeral Home.  Brother Matthew Nance will officiate.
Honorary pallbearers will be Paul Barr, Ed Jones, Chris Barnes, Ron Barnes, Kevin Edge, Hayden Edge and Hudson Edge.
Visitation will be held at Edmaiston Mosley Funeral Home from 5:00 p.m. until the hour of services Tuesday.
