Mrs. Bertha Louise Henry, 81, of Martin, passed away at 7:00 a.m. Friday, July 8, 2022, at Quince Nursing Home in Memphis.
Mrs. Bertha was born Sunday, June 8, 1941, in Bradford, daughter of the late David Henry and Helen Louise (Clark) Jones. She was also preceded in death by her son: Jackie Glen Henry; and her brother, Carnell Jones.
She married Cloyce William Henry Sunday, December 1, 1957. He passed away Tuesday, March 22, 2022. She loved to travel and was an avid bridge player. She worked as a medical assistant in doctor clinics.
She is survived by two granddaughters: Hallie Henry Burke (Phillip), of Hernando, Mississippi and Lauren Ashley Henry, of Little Rock, Arkansas; two great grandchildren: Jason and Jamerson Burke, of Hernando, Mississippi; her daughter-in-law: Cindy Hampton, of Olive Branch, Mississippi; and two brothers: Charles Jones (Joyce), of Martin and Sammie Jones (Pat), of Dresden.
Funeral services will be conducted 1:00 p.m. Monday, July 11, 2022, in the chapel of Edmaiston Mosley Funeral Home. Her granddaughter Hallie Burke will officiate. Burial will follow in Obion County Memorial Gardens.
Pallbearers will be family.
There will be no visitation and friends are asked to meet at the funeral home at service time.
