Jackson, Tenn. — LIFELINE Blood Services and Joe Mahan Ford have partnered up again to save lives.

Donate blood with LIFELINE Blood Services from now until Labor Day for a chance to win a 2019 Ford EcoSport; you must be 18 years old to participate.

“Summer is a crucial time for donating blood. We become busy with summer events and vacations, so donating blood tends to fall off of people’s radar. However, there is no summer break when it comes to needing donations and the need stays constant, so we ask that you put blood donation on your summer schedule,” said Melinda Reid, Marketing Manager with LIFELINE Blood Services.

Joe Mahan Ford in Paris knows that they are making a difference and encourages everyone that is feeling well and healthy to donate.

“We know that donating blood with LIFELINE impacts our communities and saves lives. You could be saving the life of a family member, a neighbor, or someone in your community. We are pleased to partner with LIFELINE and support their life saving mission,” said Jeff Mahan with Joe Mahan Ford.

Lifeline Blood Services has two fixed site locations where donors can give whole blood, plasma, and platelets. The Jackson Center is located at 183 Sterling Farms Drive and is open Monday through Saturday from 9 a.m. – 6 p.m. The Dyersburg Center is located at 1130 Highway 51 Bypass Suite 19 & 20 across from Lowes and is open Sunday, Monday, and Tuesday from 10 a.m. – 6 p.m. and Saturday from 8 a.m. – 4 p.m. Walk-ins are welcome. To speak with someone about donating blood, call 731.427.4431, ext. 0.

You can also donate blood at the local blood drives. Our website lists all the locations for the blood drives each month.

LIFELINE provides blood services to 20 West Tennessee counties and 13 emergency helicopter service locations. Annually, the Center collects approximately 26,000 blood products (red cell units, platelets, plasma, etc.) to meet the needs of patients. Of that total, 75% of those products are collected on the bloodmobiles across West Tennessee. LIFELINE also provides reference lab and cross-matching services to healthcare facilities.
