Dover, Tenn.–A Henry County man landed in the Stewart County Jail after fentanyl, meth and marijuana was found during a traffic stop.
During a traffic stop around 11:30 p.m. Sunday night, Stewart County Sheriff’s Deputy Josh Wilson smelled an odor of marijuana coming from the stopped vehicle.
A search of the vehicle turned up marijuana packaged for resale but also four grams of methamphetamine as well as 3 grams of suspected fentanyl along with drug paraphernalia.
Garrett Evans, age 22 of Paris, was a passenger in the vehicle and claimed ownership of all the drugs and was arrested. Bond of $7,000 was set.
