Anna Mae Posey

Anna May Posey, 84 of Paris, Tennessee, died Thursday, April 28, 2022, at Alive Hospice in Nashville, Tennessee.

She was a homemaker and a member of Van Dyke Church of Christ in Paris.  Anna enjoyed embroidery, making fried pies, and canning jams and jellies.

Anna was born Wednesday, July 14, 1937, in Blytheville, Arkansas, to the late Hendricks Clayton Greer and the late Suzanne Richards Geer. She was married to Harrison Posey, who preceded her in death. In addition to her parents and husband, she was also preceded in death by one sister, Erby Sue McLean.

She is survived by one daughter, Diana (Terry) Crouch, of Paris; three sons, Kenneth (Carla) Skinner, of Whiteville, Tennessee, Scott Skinner, of Seymour, Tennessee, and Richard (Leigh) Skinner of Seymour, Tennessee; 12 grandchildren; and 22 great grandchildren.

Arrangements are being handled by Ridgeway Funeral Home, 201 Dunlap Street/PO Box 788, Paris, Tennessee, 38242.  The body is to be cremated.  A graveside memorial service will be held Saturday, May 21, 2022, at 1:00 p.m. at Van Dyke Church of Christ Cemetery in Paris, Tennessee, with Randy Stephens officiating.

Burial of cremains will follow the graveside memorial service in Van Dyke Church of Christ Cemetery.
